DAY 1 – ORIGIN / BOGOTÁ:

Arrival in Bogotá, the multicultural capital of Colombia. Assistance at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation. Notes: For arrival transfers, night time applies for flights between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Rates are for daytime transfers; if they are nighttime, a supplement applies.

DAY 2 - BOGOTÁ (Visit to the city with Monserrate):

Breakfast. Today you will get to know the historic center of Bogotá, accompanied by one of our representatives, who will contact you in the hotel lobby to go to the city center. The walking tour begins at Plaza de Bolívar. We will visit its surrounding streets and you will be able to appreciate buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of Congress and architectural jewel of Bogotá, the Casa de los Comuneros, the Santa Clara Church Museum, the Casa de Nariño, seat of the Presidency and where Antonio Nariño, precursor of Colombian Independence, was born. We will enter the Gold Museum, whose architecture refers to indigenous cosmology and has some 34,000 pieces of goldsmithing from various pre-Hispanic cultures. Now, we prepare to be 3,152 meters closer to the stars and get to know the majestic Cerro de Monserrate, silent watchman of the city of Bogotá. It houses the sanctuary where the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. Descent and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free and accommodation.

Notes: The Gold Museum is closed every Monday, so the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda Museum are visited. On Sundays the tour with ascent to Monserrate operates subject to availability and upon request.

DAY 3 - BOGOTÁ (Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral):

Breakfast at the hotel and at the agreed time, start of the tour through the Bogotá savannah until reaching the town of Zipaquirá, whose name means 'city of our Father' in the Chibcha language. In pre-Columbian times, salt springs were exploited in this region to produce 'salt loaves', a strong currency with which the Muiscas traded. Over time, technology changed and tunnels began to be opened to extract larger quantities of salt. In these ancient underground galleries, the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral stands 180 meters below the surface. There is a small miners' chapel in honor of the Virgin, Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (this word means 'mine' in Chibcha). At the end of the visit we return to Bogotá. Accommodation.

Notes: The visit to the Salt Cathedral is not recommended for passengers who have any condition of claustrophobia or who have mobility problems.

DAY 4 – BOGOTÁ / DESTINATION:

Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to the Bogotá airport to take a flight to your city of origin. Notes: For departure transfers, the night schedule applies for flights between 11:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. The rates are for daytime transfers; if they are night transfers, a supplement applies.
